Terms of Service
This page is a translation for your convenience. If it differs from the English version, the English version applies.
These terms cover the Trust website, the dashboard, the virtual Visa card, staking and the exchange desk. By connecting a wallet or using any of them you agree to these terms.
The service
Trust lets you issue a virtual Visa card in US dollars or euros and fund it with supported crypto assets from a wallet you control. The card is issued by our banking partner under a licence from Visa. Trust also offers staking from your wallet balance and an exchange desk that works through Telegram.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and allowed to use financial services where you live. You may not use Trust if you are subject to sanctions, or on behalf of anyone who is. We may ask for information to meet the requirements of our partners and the law, and we may decline or suspend a service when those requirements are not met.
Your wallet
You connect a wallet and sign a message to prove you control it. Signing moves no funds. You are responsible for keeping the wallet and its recovery phrase safe. We never ask for your private key or recovery phrase, and nobody from Trust ever will.
Deposits and conversion
A deposit is credited once the network has confirmed it, and it is converted into the card currency at the rate shown at the moment of crediting. Deposits sent on an unsupported network or in an unsupported asset may be lost.
Staking
Staking rewards are paid at a variable annual rate that can change at any time. A flexible stake can be withdrawn at any time; a fixed term stake unlocks when its term ends. Rates shown on the website are current rates, not a promise of future rewards.
Exchange desk
Rates in the website calculator are estimates. The desk confirms a fixed rate in the Telegram chat before you send anything, and that rate applies to your order. Send funds only to the address the desk gives you in that chat.
Fees and limits
Fees and limits for each card plan are listed on the pricing section and in the dashboard. ATM operators, merchants and networks may charge their own fees. We will tell you before any change to our fees takes effect.
Using the card
You can use the card wherever Visa is accepted. Do not use it for anything unlawful. We may block a transaction or freeze a card to protect you or to meet legal requirements.
Closing your account
You can close your card in the dashboard at any time and withdraw the remaining balance, less network fees. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law prevents us.
Liability
We provide the service with care, but we cannot control blockchain networks, wallets, merchants or ATM operators, and we are not responsible for losses they cause. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
